THE CHALLENGE
Virginia House, home to JTI in Crewe, underwent a modernisation programme lasting from 2023 and is set to finish completely in 2025. This has included the warehouse and the office, the latter space being where Merlin has been involved. The team worked with designers and contractors to work a plan for the door hardware in the office space that suited the subtle black accents and minimal feel.
THE APPROACH
The clean, straight lines of the Matt Black Prostyle T-Bar Pull handles and Door Hardware selected for JTI, draws on the black accents elsewhere in the building and on the window and partitioning framework. Our Prostyle T-Bar range was chosen due to the minimal features portraying the contemporary feel chosen for the interiors.

THE BUILDING
Weston Road is a street located in the town of Crewe and near the historic town of Stowford. The building has an industrial feel – a distinct contrast to the calming feel of the pastel pink, white and black accents of the interior.
