As we step confidently into 2026, we’re taking a moment to look back at a fantastic way to close out 2025 — our Merlin Architectural End of Year Day.
On Monday 22 December, the whole team came together to celebrate what’s been an incredibly strong year for Merlin. The day kicked off bright and early with our annual Merlin meeting, where we reflected on the wins, challenges, and milestones of 2025, shared plans and ambitions for 2026, and squeezed in a bit of training, teamwork, and a very competitive quiz. A great reminder of just how much we’ve achieved together — and where we’re heading next.
From there, it was time to swap the meeting room for something a little more relaxed. We headed over to Mowgli at Cheshire Oaks for lunch, where good food, great conversation, and plenty of laughs set the tone for the rest of the day.
The afternoon was all about fun, teamwork, and friendly rivalry. At Tenpin, things got energetic with laser tag (some hidden talents definitely emerged!), followed by Houdini’s Escape Room Experience, where brains, teamwork, and calm under pressure were put to the test, as well as bowling, featuring strikes, spares, and a lot of cheering and banter.
It was the perfect mix of reflection, celebration, and well-earned downtime — and a great way to say thank you to everyone for the hard work, commitment, and team spirit shown throughout the year.
As we look ahead, we’re excited about what 2026 has in store. A huge thank you to the entire Merlin Architectural team for making 2025 such a success. We wish everyone a happy, healthy, and prosperous year ahead — and we can’t wait to see what we achieve together next.
