For a few years now, the demand for black ironmongery has been on the increase and certainly doesn’t seem to be slowing up. White ironmongery must be specified or purchased alongside darker doors as BS8439:2008 requires a Light Reflective Value (LRV) of at least 15 points between the door surface and ironmongery.
