Whether you’re upgrading existing doors or fitting new sets, our aim is to make compliance easier and more cost-effective. Here’s what’s new:
1. FAS Fire Door Foam – Gun Grade (750 ml)
A revolutionary polyurethane (PU) expanding foam designed to seal perimeter gaps between frames and walls. Certifire approved and fire rated up to 60 minutes, this saves time and effort compared to traditional mineral wool and mastic methods. Learn More
2. Blue60 Fire Rated Frame Foam (Gun Grade, 750 ml)
Tested in combination with our Blue60-rated packers for use with single and double door-sets. Rated for up to 60 minutes of fire performance, aligned with BS 476-22 and BS EN 1634-1. Acoustic performance: around 43 dB. Learn More
3. Blue60 Fire Rated Packers
Available in 1 mm (green), 3 mm (white), and 5 mm (blue) thicknesses. These packers are colour-coded and specifically tested and required for correct application with Blue60 foam to ensure the integrity of the seal. Learn More
4. FAS Fire Door Intumescent Acrylic Sealant (310 ml – White)
An acrylic sealant that expands under heat to seal gaps and preserve fire-resistance. Essential for completing fire-seal installations with the FAS Fire Door Foam, especially for fire ratings of FD90 and FD120. Learn More
5. Intumescent Sealant & Orange 240 Acrylic Sealant
Additional sealants in our fire-rated range, offering flexible options depending on application and rating needs. Learn More
6. Harwood Wedges
These are used to provide stable and accurate levelling and alignment of the door frame within the wall opening, ensuring a precise, plumb fit, contributing to the doors fire-resistance and smoke sealing properties. Learn More
7. Soudal Firecryl White 310ml
This is a fire-rated acrylic sealant used to maintain the fire resistance of joints and gaps in fire doors and other fire-rated structures. Learn More
8. Intumescent Fire Rated Mastic Sealant
This is an intumescent acrylic sealant that swells and chars when exposed to fire, creating a barrier that resists the passage of flames and smoke. This is available in both white and brown.
Why These Additions Matter
Compliance Made Simpler: Products come with clear fire and acoustic performance details (e.g. BS testing, Certifire approvals), helping meet building regulations and standards like BS 8214:2016 (practice for fire doors).
Time & Labour Savings: The fire-door foam cuts installation time by eliminating the need for mineral wool and additional mastics—saving on average 12 minutes per door set.
Clean, Reliable Finishes: Use of industrial wipes ensures doors look professional post-installation.
Flexible for Multiple Ratings: Works across FD30, FD60, and—when combined with intumescent acrylic sealant—FD90/FD120 doors.
Other Fire Door Products to Consider
Beyond foams, packers, and sealants, ensuring the full performance of a fire door also involves other associated components. Here are some more key products often used in conjunction, now in stock and ready for next-day delivery:
Intumescent Smoke Seals / Strip Gaskets
These self-expanding strips are fitted around door edges to block flames and smoke under heat exposure. We have a large range of these in stock, including both fire-only and fire & smoke configurations, along with a range of different colours.
Drop-Down Door Seals (Fire-Rated & Smoke-Certified)
Installed on the bottom of doors, automatically dropping to seal the gap when the door is closed—providing protection against smoke and fire propagation. We stock these in both surface-mounted and recessed configurations, depending on your requirements.
Prewrapped Hinge/ Lock Kits
As part of our commitment to enhancing onsite efficiency whilst ensuring fire ratings are adhered to, we offer a full range of mortice items, already wrapped with the required intumescent. Learn More
